About the Author

Betty White was born in Charleston, South Carolina where she now lives with her husband Frank. She was employed in the medical community for 28 years before retiring in 1995 to devote herself as caregiver to Father Maher, and has always been involved in church and community service. At this time she is a volunteer Eucharistic Minister in the Pastoral Care Department at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital, a member of The South Carolina Irish Historical Society (President 1991), Blessed Sacrament Parish Woman's Guild, and BPO Does #231, all located in Charleston, South Carolina.
